Founded in 1989, Marlow Auto has been in continuous operation as a small, family-owned and run shop. Mr. Marlow runs the business himself with the help of his family.
Many of our customers have become lifelong friends — bringing their children's and grandchildren's cars in to keep them running and carrying their families safely on the road. That's the whole business model. Fix it right, explain it plainly, earn the next visit.

I have brought my 2011 Subaru Outback here for various maintenance needs. They always fix the issue at a reasonable cost. But the most recent visit, when I brought my car in because the driver's side window stopped going up/down, the team really impressed me with their honesty. Rather than charge me for a new motor + regulator + labor, they were able to just reattach the window and replace the worn-out glue. So they saved me quite a bit of money and went above and beyond to do so. I am very thankful to the team and will continue bringing my Ruby the Subie here.

The entire experience was extremely pleasant! They were able to turn a challenging car problem and bad situation into such a wonderful experience. I had my car towed to the outside of their building after hours one night based solely on their ratings and reviews. The mechanics proved to be very knowledgeable and direct by taking the time to explain the issue with my car and exactly what would have caused the problem. Joy in the front office was incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the entire process as she explained the different repair options available. While on a cross country trip, I was sure I had a broken CV as I limped towards the Austin area. I called Marlow about 2 hours away and they said they could take me in as soon as I arrived. To my surprise they were not only able to figure out the problem immediately, they got the new axle and installed it within a few hours! I never expected to be back on the road in the same day, let alone before sunset! Joy was great to talk to while my pup and I waited. Super happy to find out they were also dog friendly, on top of being very quick and hard working people!!! It's so good to know there's a good shop in town.
